Do you have problem with energy? I bring both Balth. Spirit and Essence Bond but still need Blessed Signet. I only bring SoJ as damage skill. Maybe I will try your build and see.

Even with SoA @ 7 seconds and high divine favor there is a very small window were SoA is down (During cast time). This will be o.k. if you don't tank much, however, if you want maximum time efficiency and do the run like I have it in the video, you will die.

With my build I only use Balthazar's Spirit and I have enough energy. It's just a matter of using it efficiently and aggroing when you need to.
As much as I don't want to hear it since I have terrible luck I'm going to echo My-Way here.... Anyone get some nice Sephis axes? :P

Where is the best place in GoK to farm? I've been going over on the left side, behind that house (near Oink) and it takes me about 10 minutes or so to clean everything out, because the Ghouls & Hellhounds run off every so often, apparently because of SoJ. I've gotten the build set to where it's pretty much impossible to die (SH & SoA), but damage-dealing is rather slow...Any input?

I'll all for a zero tolerance flaming policy in Campfire...
Let's not make me get this put into writing, ok?
This sub-forum is for sharing farming spots and builds. PERIOD. Do not flame people for posting/sharing spots.
Do not act like this spot wasn't going to be heavily over farmed. It's not like it was a secret. People were farming this spot before HM, and it's an obvious good choice for after HM.
This post did nor ruin the price of dead bows. They tanked like 2 days after HM was released. In addition there is already a thread on farming outside Beetledun in the Undead Hoardes quest and that spot drops plenty of Dead Bows as well.
Any more pointless flaming people for sharing their spots will result in a ban.
Let's all try to get along, ok?

SH, SoA, PS, Mystic Regen, Zealot's Fire, Balt Spirit, Blessed Aura, SoJ
Kill the first 2 mobs chasing after the farmers (aggro first mob, wait for second mob, clear both with soj). This triggers bonus spawn of at least 10-15 undead.
Go talk to oink.
Go down, trigger the hellhound + 4 grasping ghouls, kill the hellhound to trigger the mega spawn.
Spam zealots and SoJ while standing near oink. AoE will trigger scattering, but oink bugs has a weird aggro-bug, where if they scatter, they return almost immediately (may not move at all) to oink (and you, since you're standing beside him).
Mega aggro takes about 3-5 minutes to complete depending on how stupid the ghouls are being.
Follow the path and clear out the 4 hellhounds, warlock, and ranger (not necessary, but they're quick and easy to kill).
Voila, gold return ranges from 600-1200 (selling items).
Possible golds include short swords, sephis axes, wooden bucklers, dead bows, war hammers, runic hammers, butterfly swords, etc...
Lots of tomes, dyes, orr emblems, bones, and glittering dust.

Not that I imagine this helps much.... but I found I usually ended up halfway down the windy path... and the one apparent Hellhound would notice me and come charging in to attack. After you kill HIM... all hell breaks loose and the whole hoarde of hellhounds and grasping ghouls comes rushing up to the middle of the path. THAT would be where I died.... typically.

Walk past Oink, through the gate and round the left side of the house and you will find a path down to that big mob.
Kill them up close and personal, then pick up the loot!
Cheers,
Rukh

you have to fight or run all the way to the poisoned river where there is a small bridge and a lot of undeads. Clear this area and turn to the left. there is a small path leading to the area where you see those undeads from the cliff above.

Been having some good success with this variation:
[skill]Protective Spirit[/skill][skill]Mystic Regeneration[/skill][skill]Shield of Judgment[/skill][skill]Holy Strike[/skill][skill]Blessed Signet[/skill][skill]Blessed Aura[/skill][skill]Balthazar's Spirit[/skill][skill]Essence Bond[/skill]
Been using this mostly outside Bergen's. Holy Strike seems to work rather well against mobs that have a monk or two in order to help spike targets that may be healed. Blessed is rather optional, but it allows for stronger energy management and better energy management means I can be lazier when recasting enchants, lol. I dropped SoA and SH since I didn't encounter many mobs large enough to make these skills needed and found the extra damage from Holy Strike to be advantageous. Blessed could easily be replaced for some other smite skill to increase damage.

Kill the first group attacking the farmers, you will get an even larger aggro with mesmers and rangers then when you go with oink behind the house.

Holy strike is amazing outside Bergen, allows you to take down 2 monk groups easy.

Im not sure how far into the mission yall are farming. I usually just go behind the house and fight to where you would normally come back on the path.
Screw Oink. That dumb invincible pig is such a pain in the rear. Its so much easier without him.
The best way is probably 180 or lower because you get the boost from the superiors.
I've never died, unlesss i just get lazy and don't reprot.
Heres what to use.
Equipment:
+1 Prot head w/ superior prot
+1 Divine Head w/ superior divine
Then preferably these 3 runes anywhere on the body:Superior Prot, Superior Divine, Superior Smite
Weapons:
Any weapon with an extra 20% Enchanting on it. Personally i use a Smiting Staff with 20% Enchant, +5e head and +5^50 inscription.
Build:
Owok4gPLUuizdtewevHQEDi8AgA
SoA, PS, Mistic Regen, Symbol of Wrath, Balth's Aura, SoJ, Balth's Spirit, Blessed Aura
You dont really need both symbol of wrath and balth's aura, so you can swap for Shielding Hands if your lazy or if you dont feel confident in the build.
Before Runes You should have:
Earth Prayers: 8
Smiting: 8
Divine: 9
Protection: 11
I'm not on my monk atm, afking rings :-p, but i think those are right.
When you go in, but on your +1 Divine head, with runes you should have a 32% longer Blessed Aura. Cast Blessed Aura on yourself then switch back to you +1 Prot head. Now you should have a 7s SoA. This combined with Blessed Aura and your 20% longer enchanting mod allows you to be able to cast SoA again right as its about to end. (Note: You have about 1/2 second to cast SoA or you will die. So if you are inexperienced take Shielding Hands for back up)
Then just aggro and let as many as you can settle onto you. Cast SoJ. WHen they are knocked down, cast Symbol of Wrath. By the time you finish they should be knocked down again. They will usually attack one more time and so most of Symbol of Wrath will affect them. Wait for recharge and repeat.
You can do this whole mission solo if you really wanted to. There is no enchant strip and 90% of the mission is undead.
Too bad Dead Bows aren't worth anything anymore. Sephis Axes are still less common though. I've got a couple grapes, no gold ones yet.

Yeah, I've been using that build, so far it's the best I can come up with...Cast SoJ first, next second cast SoW.
